The main role of gas turbine operation and maintenance is to monitor the current working condition of the gas turbine and find various fault conditions in time. Endoscopes can be quickly detected through the inspection holes, and they have a wide range of applications in power plants and complete plants.
Industrial endoscopes can be used for non-destructive visual inspection of the gas turbine's compressor, combustion chamber, turbine (turbine) and other components. The damage caused to gas turbine blades and heat channels is mainly due to corrosion, fatigue, foreign body impact and several other reasons, so the industrial endoscope inspection mainly covers the following aspects:
Compressors: Blade breakage, ash accumulation, corrosion, top clearance changes, blade trailing edge and static lobe root rust, and damage caused by foreign objects.
Combustion chamber: Burn-through, burn-crack, block loss, carbon buildup, cracks, metal defects, thermal corrosion, and condition of assembly connections in the combustion chamber and transition section.
Turbine: corrosion, clogging, cracking, bending, pitting, chunking, ablation, metal chipping, rusting, localized deformation, foreign body impact, scaling, and condition of surface coatings.
